AX-S System for Steel Racks

Gain Rear Access to Equipment and Cabling

Delivered as an assembled system in modified MRK or WRK-SA enclosures [A], the AX-S System for steel racks allows equipment bays to be placed up against walls or back-to-back, thereby putting an end to the dilemma posed by space-limiting environments. That translates into a savings of six square feet of floor space per rack.

To simplify your installation, each host enclosure can be pre-installed on-site while the detachable rack frame [B] is integrated with equipment off-site. With a rolling rack frame depth of 20", this AX-S System will hold up to 650 lbs. All cables can be cleanly and safely routed via articulating carriers [C] which attach to the rack frame. When your installation is complete, the rolling rack frame retracts into its host cabinet, the service tracks [D] are removed, and the unit is locked closed.

Additionally, when used in conjunction with our AX-S Z4 mounting bracket option (Factory Installed Only), the AX-S System installed in our MRK Series racks satisfies the Uniform Building Code seismic zone 4 requirements for protecting 500 lbs. of essential equipment.

The AX-S Racks can be used with our RSH custom rackshelves and are also available in an In-Wall version.
