Surge Protective Devices (SPD)

The Cat. No. 51120-PTC Multimedia Surge Protective Device (SPD) is designed for use at residential/light commercial service entrance locations. The unit provides surge protection for utility AC power lines, telephone and cable/satellite TV systems.

STANDARDS SPECIFICATIONS

The Cat. No. 51120-PTC Multimedia SPD is designed for use on 120/240 volt 50/60 Hz single-phase AC power lines. The unit also supplies protection via a replaceable Cat. No. 5350-PT4 module for 2-pair phone systems utilizing conventional RJ-11 connector terminations; and supplies protection via a replaceable Cat. No. 5350-SAT module for cable/satellite TV systems utilizing F connectors. It is UL 1449-2nd Edition Listed, CSA Certified and backed by Leviton's Limited Ten Year Warranty. This warranty also provides $10,000 connected-equipment coverage against damage that might result from surges on the incoming power, telephone or CATV/Satellite lines. The AC power connected-equipment coverage applies to "white appliances" only. Downstream surge protectors should be used for home office and home theater electronics.
