Based on the same technologies and features that made JBL the speaker of choice for film recording professionals and movie theater designers, the AEH50 engineers them into an easy-to-live-with form factor that works in any living and listening environment.
The AEH50 Cinema Speaker System's two-way satellite speakers take their performance cues from JBL's renowned family of studio monitors, delivering smooth, accurate sound coverage throughout the viewing area. The powered subwoofer is engineered to generate full-frequency realism, providing the powerful bass foundation required to faithfully reproduce today's special-effects-rich film soundtracks.
The System is a 5-channel surround-sound package that can easily be upgraded to 6- and 7-channel operation for 6.1 or 7.1 surround-sound operation with the optional matched AESS5 Expansion Satellite Speaker. The system uses standard audio wiring topology, with satellites connected directly to the AV receiver's speaker terminals and the subwoofer system connected to the receiver's SUB OUT or LFE OUT jacks. The AEH50 is compatible with the full range of surround, speaker and EQ modes available in today's AV receivers.
An extremely versatile performer, the AEH50 Home Cinema Speaker System is ideal for use in any application where because of room space or functional considerations - an in-wall/in-ceiling installed home theater speaker solution is impractical but full performance is desired. The AE6MA is a 12-channel (6 stereo pairs), 50-Watt-per-channel (nominal rating) high current amplifier that combines the reliability of a commercial design with the sound quality normally associated with "audiophile" stereo amplifiers. The result is an amplifier that can deliver a no-compromise listening experience to any room in a home.
Each channel is individually and fully protected against dangerously low impedance swings, overheating, overloading and voltage irregularities. The AE6MA also features numerous installer-friendly features, including individual input channel gain adjustment, external power ON/OFF capability and "channel link," which allows installers to connect individual sources to all six stereo inputs or link any of inputs # 2 through # 6 to the #1 input without using external adapters.

The AE6MC features six digital volume-controlled stereo (50 watt per channel) amplifiers with individual seven-source selection. The AE6MC is designed to meet the amplifier needs of custom installed multi-zone systems where both high quality sound and the ultimate in multi-source listening flexibility are required. Its unique combination of audiophile performance, multi source versatility and commercial ruggedness make it a powerful asset for any advanced residential entertainment system.
The AE6MC's sophisticated circuit topology makes it possible to enjoy up to seven different sources of sound (FM, CDs, MP3s, and more) in up to six rooms or zones. Users in each zone or room can select from seven audio sources as well as control volume. And, advanced settings allow the adjustment of bass, treble and balance. Features such as an external voltage trigger that can turn source equipment ON and OFF, individual zone infrared outputs, a fully balanced paging override, RS232 and/or PC control, fully buffered line-level outputs and more, give the AE6MC exceptional value when installed in homes and large complex systems. A data port is provided for ganging multiple AE6MCs. Infrared signals can be relayed from remote keypads to the source equipment.
The AE6MC is normally controlled by AE6MC LCD keypads (sold separately). It can also be controlled by a PC or compatible whole-house control system using the RS232 communication port. The paging override feature enables the amplifier to be used with a compatible whole house paging or doorbell chime system.
