Bogen's ProMatrix™ Digitally Matrixed Pre-Amplifier, Model PM3000, is the ideal solution for restaurant, lounge/bar, hotel, factory or similar facilities where multiple audio sources and voice paging inputs need to be distributed to separate areas and automatically switched based on input priorities.

The PM3000 provides up to 4 unbalanced aux inputs and 2 mic inputs that can be individually assigned to each of 3 output channels (one of the mic inputs can be programmed for telephone paging applications). Each input can be assigned a particular priority level for each output channel; the PM3000 will then automatically switch inputs based on input activity. Microphones can be assigned to priority level 1 or 2 and aux sources to levels 3, 4, 5, or 6. For example, a paging microphone can be assigned priority level 1, a jukebox to level 3 and a tuner to level 4. In this configuration, the tuner will play until the jukebox becomes active; when the page microphone is activated, it will override both of the other inputs. With tremendous flexibility for audio control and distribution in a single unit, the PM3000 is the preferred solution for multi-zone, multi-input sound management.

The new ProMatrix™ Digitally Matrixed Amplifier is the first of its kind to incorporate three independent amplifier channels with a unique digital interface, providing the ideal solution for restaurant, lounge/bar hotel, factory or similar facilities where multiple program and paging inputs need to be distributed to separate areas and automatically switched.

The PM3180 can accommodate up to 4 aux inputs and 2 mic inputs. Each input can be individually assigned to each amplifier channel. Each input on a particular channel can also be assigned a priority level. The amp channel will then automatically switch inputs based on input activity and priority level. Microphones can be assigned to priority level 1 or 2 and aux sources to levels 3, 4, 5, or 6. One of the mic inputs can be programmed for telephone paging applications.

The three amplifier channels are rated at 20, 60 and 100 watts. All channels have separate 4 and 8-ohm outputs as well as 25 and 70 volt taps. Preamp out/power amp in links are also included for each amp channel to facilitate the insertion of signal processing equipment. Adjustable input trim controls let you adjust differing audio source input levels.

The PM3180 includes a variety of useful features, including phantom power, automatic level control, choice of microphone precedence activation, variable mute, and automatic fade-in or audio source after a mic page or when switching to a lower priority. The amplifier's user mode lets personnel adjust the volume, bass and treble levels and manually select input sources. A program mode lets the installer program the ability to preset the power-up volume level of each input, preset treble and bass responses, and lock-out or inhibit volume, bass and treble controls.

All control functions are accomplished from the front control panel, which is itself removable for installation in a remote location away from the chassis. An infrared wireless remote control is also included and permits full control of all functions. Rack mount with kit RPK79.

Power Vector Mixer/Pre-Amplifier

Bogen's Power Vector Mixer is an 8-channel mixer/pre-amplifier, offering a wide variety of operational features and functions for superior audio performance. Eight module bays accept plug-in input modules, allowing up to four levels of priority between modules. Two module bays are capable of accepting signal processing plug-in output modules. Each module is controlled by an independent volume control with an associated signal/clip LED for signal status, and an 11-segment LED output level meter that monitors output signal level. In addition, the VMIX has a motorized master volume control (that can be controlled using a remote control panel, RVCP, sold separately), bass and treble control, peak hold switch, unbalanced output jack, and balanced output terminal. Optional security covers prevent tampering of settings. The VMIX can be used for various applications including foreground music, background music, and paging. For large applications, several VMIX units can be bridged together.

Model CAM2

5-Input Mixer/Pre-Amplifier

The Bogen Model CAM2 is a 5-input mixer/pre-amplifier that meets a wide variety of applications. The CAM2 is particularly well-suited for expanding the number of inputs on Bogen or other public address amplifiers. The CAM2 provides four professional, low-impedance, balanced microphone inputs through XLR connectors and one auxiliary input. Individual phantom power switches for each input allow the use of both dynamic and condenser microphones on the same unit. A bridging input allows for simple interconnection of multiple CAM2 mixers for system expansion without the need to sacrifice any mixer inputs. Clipping indicators for each input and an output level meter provide information to the system operator about sound integrity. Wide frequency response, low distortion, low-noise and high channel crosstalk isolation ensure superior sound quality.

The CAM2's balanced mixer output can be switched between line level (+4 dBu) or microphone level (-50dBu) for compatibility to a wide range of sound processing equipment. The CAM2 is listed by UL and C-UL. The unit may be rack-mounted with a Model RPK35B Rack Panel Kit (1 or 2 rack spaces high), or vertically in-wall mounted with a Model WMK1 Wall Mounting Kit. The CAM2 operates from 120V AC, 60Hz.

The Bogen CAM8 is an 8-input, dual-bus MIC/Line mixer that combine superb performance with a generous array of simple-to-use features in a single-rack space design. The CAM8 features 8 independently assignable inputs switchable between MIC and Line. Each input has a trim control, a switchable low-cut filter, and a Main/Auxiliary bus output selector.
