Bogen's new ProHold Series Digital Message On Hold Announcers turn waiting time into productive time - automatically, reliably and professionally. There are three models to choose from - with 8, 12 or 16 minutes of memory capacity.

The ProHold's superior audio quality provides the ultimate in professional image. It has a specialized audio circuit that eliminates silent passages, automatic one-step downloading from tape to digital memory and a special one play trigger for special applications.

Excellence In Sound Quality

The ProHold Series utilizes state-of-the-art digital design to achieve a full 64Kbps digital toll quality sampling rate, for the most superior On Hold sound quality available. A specialized audio editing circuit creates seamless audio with no dead air.

Digital Reliability

Since the digital circuitry has no moving parts, playback is ultra-reliable. The built-in tape mechanism is only employed while down- loading is in progress, and is not subject to the constant wear and tear of traditional tape-based systems.

Maximum Ease of Use

The owner merely inserts a cassette into the housing. The ProHold automatically assesses the audio start and stop point, sets the record levels, downloads, and goes into play mode. To the user, this translates into no need for adjustments of any kind. To the On Hold professional, microprocessor control means fewer call-backs, smoother installations at the end-user site, and more satisfied customers.

Changing messages is as easy as inserting a new tape. When the ProHold downloads the new tape program. it automatically erases the previous program.

Built-in Program Memory Backup

If the power to the unit should ever be interrupted, the ProHold will automatically reload the program on the tape left in the unit.

One-Play Trigger Mode

The ProHold has a one-time play feature, controlled by a built-in trigger jack. The audio output of the ProHold can be connected directly to a loudspeaker, and the message triggered by a switch. The trigger jack also has a message sensing feature which can signal other equipment, such as lights, doors, etc., during playback.
