Surge Protective Devices (SPD)

Cat. Nos. 57120-M3S, 57277-M3S and 57347-M3S with removable modules are designed for installation at the service entrance and at branch panels, or as dedicated TVSS for critical equipment. These devices provide dedicated surge protection for each phase to neutral, phase to ground, and neutral to ground in three-phase Wye AC systems.

TYPICAL SPECIFICATION

The 57000-M3S units are designed for use where a multiphase, transient voltage surge suppressor (TVSS) is specified. They provide full 7-mode protection in 120/208V, 277/480V and 347/600V WYE-configured, 3-phase systems. Their parallel operated design features 40mm-diameter, metal-oxide varistors and EMI/RFI filter circuitry equipped with high-voltage-rise capacitors for harmonic tolerance. They feature indicator lights, a status relay and an audible alarm for monitoring power and surge suppression, and replaceable modules. The enclosure door features an integrated disconnect switch that de-energizes the unit during maintenance. All units have been tested to ANSI/IEEE C62.45 standards for Category A, B and C environments and is UL 1449 (2nd Edition) Listed. They are also backed by Leviton's Limited Ten-Year Warranty.
