Convenient built-in voltage, polarity and continuity sensing: A bi-color LED on the tone generator used in conjunction with the RJ 11, RJ45 and alligator clips perform three important tests:
Voltage present (AC or DC): If voltage is present, it is indicated.
Polarity: If voltage is present, its polarity is indicated. This is particularly important in telephone applications.
Continuity: The perfect, quick way to check for continuity.
